HOW EXPENSIVE IS JAPAN? Crazy Fast Bullet Train Trip

An interesting day of traveling in Japan by bullet train, from the city of Sendai on Honshu island to the smaller city of Muroran on Hokkaido island.

  1. You've spent a small fortune and haven't really done anything so far apart from sitting on train's. Can't say I'm very impressed with what I've seen of Japan from your videos 🤔

  2. Oh man, it's so nice to see Sendai! I used to live and work right downtown, within a 5 or 10 minute walk to Sendai station, and the bar district. It was fun!😁 Your footage of Sendai brought back a flood of memories! Thanks!😊

  3. Your videos are always so informative and enlightening! I would not have guessed that Japan was so reasonably priced for travelers.
Also nice to see NO GRAFFITI anywhere!

  4. Gabriel, have you ever tried to watch the telly (TV, the 'tube) in any places where you landed for the night(s)? I mean, have you tried to tune into the news, or other TV shows just to kill some time? Asking, because I don''t think we have ever seen you watch TV at all. I mean, you don't impress me as being a big television watcher in general which I guess is good, you being on your feet as much as you are and as busy creating the great content that you do, for us.
    But still, my curiosity persists.

  5. I had a 7 day JR pass and covered a fair bit of ground between Hiroshima up to Niigata (with a day trip to Nagano). The Shinkansens were absolutely amazing and travelling in the mid day period they were never busy. A few of my trips were on limited express local trains which had fabulous scenery. Highly recommend, it was a bucket list tick for me.

  6. If you want a change of pace from 7-11 for your breakfast/snack on your next long haul shinkansen ride try an ekiben ("train bento box"). They are sold at stores inside the larger train stations. My favorite type is unagi-don (grilled fresh water eel filet over rice) but the types and varieties of ekiben are almost endless.

  7. I remember when you buy this red Indian style shirt in India in the summer which you're still wearing in Japan 😅 I believe I won't be able to see Japan hence seeing you in there is a really fun experience, Arigatōgozaimashita!
