Ukraine is starting to receive more advanced SAM system. Getting Germanys most modern surface to air system, the IRIS-T SLM. A medium range SAM system based upon the IRIS-T missile which is a flexibel missile being able to shot at many targets. But how effective is IRIS-T SLM in Ukraine? Can they keep ukrainien skies free from Russian objects?

A heartening report.
Seeing these footages, you realize that Israel's Iron Dome footages are bs.
With reports that the IRIS-T SLM and NASAMS are scoring a 100 percent kill ratio, their presence greatly diminishes the effect of the Russian attacks. The Ukraine needs to receive more of these systems.

Most people do not understand that Ukraine is a fragment of the Russian world, which has adopted Nazi ideology. And the fact that the media makes angels out of them is a mistake. They are not angels. They're just Nazis. If arms supplies to Ukraine do not stop, Russia will be forced to approach the war more seriously. To stop the war, it is better for other countries not to interfere in the conflict.

It's hard to know how Pantsir S1 was used but the new S1M and SM is better. Also what version was it , Yugoslavia in 1999 shot down a F117 and damaged another and shot down a F16 that had a modern active countermeasure that makes fake targets on the radar . That was a SAM from 1970 with a range of 20km but if the operators are good experienced they can do damage.
IRIS-T is very accurate. Ukraine needs more of the systems to have enough coverage. They have enough ammunition right now. Manufacturing of a system takes easily 4 months, total output of Diehl Defense for these systems is 3-4 a year. They work as quickly as they can. Missiles can get through, when the batteries run out of ammo or, like he said, need to reload.
Technology wise, our western gear is much more advanced in virtually every area. Corruption and mismanagement are like a boomerang, hitting the Russians in the face. Ironically, what makes this regime so aggressive and brutal, is also the reason why they suck so much. Putin showed his friends how lucrative it is to steal from the state. And so everybody steals, down the chain.
What’s left is low quality gear, some of it only exists on paper. And even the stuff that does work, uses western parts. If it wasn’t for the many innocent victims of this senseless war, it would be outright funny.
Two great systems. Let's hope they get way more of these including Patriot so they can have a short to medium and long range.
