  1. I'm tired of Europeans expecting America to give more money. We've done way more than we should have. Europe needs to take care of this European problem. America has enough border problems of its own

  2. Thanks this great podcast which i listen to every day. Great reporting! One little thing though : please stop spreading the wrong story about Elon Musk / SpaceX turning off Starlink to hinder a Ukrainian operation. What really happened was that Ukraine requested Starlink to be turned on in Crimea to support a mission. This was initially denied by SpaceX because it would be a breach of US sanctions against Russia. This was sorted out later together with the US government and service is now available. But it is completely wrong that SpaceX turned an already running service off to hinder a Ukrainian operation.

  4. $20Bn is the value of the 2 patriot systems the Russians just took out.

$65m was the cost of the patrol boat they lost to the drones which were actualy targeting the Kerch bridge.

Now tell me who is winning….

  5. Why cover a story that – in the fast moving environment of the war- is now about 2 weeks old?

Was there nothing in the intervening two weeks worth covering?

Like ,say, the continued destruction of hyper expensive Patriot batteries?

    Or…..this Scholz-Taurus debacle …..

  7. The Russian Orthodox Church is not the same as "The Orthodox Church" we know in the rest of the world. The Russian Orthodox Church is nothing like as old. The Russian Orthodox Church is a break away group from what was founded in Kiev much earlier. The Russian Orthodox Church is today entirely run my Russian secret service, the former KGB, Patriarch Kirin is a former KGB officer. Don't forget Russia burned down hundreds of Orthodox churches and killed the hundreds perhaps thousands of Orthodox priests.

The Pope is totally ignorant if he wants to maintain "Christian" relations with that criminal organisation, that today blesses the missiles sent to kill civilians in Ukraine. It's shameful.

  9. I read the comments and realized that most have no idea about the war! Ukraine is smaller, has a smaller population, now has less ammunition, no aviation, Ukraine is at war with one of the most powerful army in the world! And in recent months they have captured only Avdeivka, a very small settlement. How so, ask yourself? Ukraine is the first in the world in military innovation, neither America, nor Taiwan, nor Europe, in military technology they canโ€™t keep up with Ukraine and Russia. So, Iโ€™ll say this: if Ukraine wins, those allies who tested their new technologies with it for the next century can rest easy!

  10. I love Guy Verhofstadtโ€™s comments. He should also be pointing out how Belgium has basically given Ukraine zero military aid during this war. The EU, generally, needs to stop pretending it needs to maintain large amounts of arms for anything other than Russiaโ€ฆwhom Ukraine is currently fighting and rapidly weakening.

  11. Itโ€™s been a pleasure to see Fico complain about Italy withdrawing SAMP/T systems from Slovakia. Whatโ€™s he worried about? He keeps talking about how Russia isnโ€™t a threat at all.

  12. Itโ€™s mind boggling that individual donors have contributed FAR more $ to Ukraine than Western governments. I also donโ€™t get the EUโ€™s rationale for backfilling modern systems in exchange for members sending utter junk to Ukraine instead of simply sending the good systems to ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ. I guess that was the price of getting all the votes on EU packages.
