  1. The faceless men believe that all the different gods of the world are actually just the same God wearing different faces for different peoples. They believe there is, in fact, only 1 God: Death. The faceless men serve their God faithfully.

Valar Margulis: All men must die.

Valar Dohairis : All men must serve.

  3. House of the Dragon focuses on the Targaryens, at their peak of power, when they had dragons. In fact, at the event known as the Dance of Dragons. So about 172 years before the events of the main show-books.

  4. Yes Aegon the Conqueror married his two sisters, Rhaenys the younger for love with whom he had Aenys I (the ancestor line of almost all Targaryens in Westeros) and Visenya, the older one out of duty with whom he had Maegor I, the Cruel (who died childless). The Faith rebelled when Aenys I married his eldest daughter to his eldest son and heir. Maegor tried brutality to appease them but it was Jaehaerys I (another of Aenys I sons) who settled it for good with the faith allowing him to practice incest among his family.
