Ramadan Healing Series Part 4/4:
Following on from the previous podcast I will teach you how Islamic guidance can help us combat depression and suicidal thoughts. It is really important that this information is processed properly by those who are suffering from a loss, or pain or being unable to process their difficult emotions. This podcast is also for those who are feeling despair, have doubts in Allah and have lost hope in their lives ever changing for the better.
*“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.”* (Al Qur’an, 2:286).
It is important to understand and remember that every hardship that we face in life is a test from Allah. It is a test of patience, devotion and trust in Him. With that test and challenge, we must apply this verse to our lives.
*”Surely, with every hardship, there is ease.”* (Al-Qur’an, 94:6).
Allah is merciful and does not burden anyone with any hardship in which they are unable, physically, spiritually or mentally, to bear. He will give you *ease* that will make the hardship more bearable. This means that regardless of the situation, Allah is choosing to test you with that challenge because He knows that you can get through it, that you are strong enough and He wants you to be able to see it and focus more on the positives in that situation. So have faith in that and trust in the strength that Allah gave you. Because even after the storm, there will come a rainbow and time heals all wounds.
*“Do not lose hope, nor be sad. You will surely be victorious if you are true believers.”* (Al-Qur’an, 3:139)

Jazak’Allah khair for this sister.
Extremely beneficial with regards to dealing with loss and seeing the benefits that may come from it.
I understand that the loss of my marriage was because I needed to become closer to Allah and to also stop me from committing certain sins.
There is still wisdom of Allah that I haven’t fully understood, Insha’Allah that time will come.
May Allah heal all of us that were stuck in toxicity because we didn’t value ourselves enough…Ameen
May Allah heal the hearts that are dealing with loss, wether bereavement or abandonment…Ameen
