  1. Small sample size but but my locals today of 12 people had half the room on Beelzemon, top 3 was Hunters, Red Hybrid (myself), and Hunters. My personal matchups was 2 Beelzemon, X7 Xros Heart, and Hunters.

  2. I think youre right in that the deck loses to itself. A huge thing ive noticed playing the deck is you can and will get these awkward hands, stuff like a level 3, 4 and then options or level 6s to round out the hand. And if you cant find the level 5 or ai and mako your hand just gets worse the longer the game goes on. I think this is why hunters might be the better deck, as hunters hands are almost always playable and arresterdramon superior solves so many of the boards beelzemon puts out.

  3. if the omnimon was that good you would've seen it played more in the ocg to combat the match up. If you're so far ahead to were you're going into a merciful mode you should be already winning the game. People are just bad and don't know how to play around the deck. hunters beats the dog shit out of that deck and suspends things with quartz or puts it under the tamer never to be used again. Hunters for an example, is too fast for beelzemon to do anything. Black wargrey is still a good deck that can body the match up. You gave some good suggestions in this video, though I don't agree with the merci. I just think it's always funny that the community says "X" deck is a problem and has their pitch forks ready for a deck that they play poorly against. Beelzemon has to have the jackpot mills in order to pop off otherwise its struggling.

  4. u can also just play gallantmon. do cheap damage at first and when they have the stack ready for x antibody beelze go , have gallantmon or crismon mode ready.

  5. Defenetly would like to see one more focused on beating Hunters since that one is the deck I seen topin the hell out at my locals lately. Beelzemon's case is weird because I've seen people calling Gallantmon a fare deck when Beelzemon has that title as virtue of not only not having protection but also relying on Rng

  6. I've been playing red hybrid and I took a 4-1 record against it. The best card I found was Crimson Blaze to stop them playing things from trash as well as Atomic Inferno and you just out pace them. Both are incredible options in Red to put you in good position to win.

  7. Shouldn't gallant be good against beelz in theory? Crimson mode should turn their heavy trash against them. Gallantmon is often pretty slow but it can play crimson blaze and most of it's ladder can delete their stack or warp impmon before they get beelz. Raiding into beelz is also useful if it's got some of its dp boosting inherits. I know you keep saying gallant just isn't good enough in your vids, I'd like to know why you think that more, I don't think I've ever seen you go into detail, apologies if you have and I missed it

  8. I would like to see a few good ways to beat Machinedramon..When I play against one..there are always at least 2 Analog Man on the field..Blocker Chaosdramon..now there is Chaos X..an that is fucking anoying..

  9. Very good idea and video! I was thinking about Avengekidmon to lower their numbers in trash but brings back all the death slingers so I'm not certain…what do you think?

  10. I have been playing Angewomon x/venusmon in bt11 and will be putting a merciful mode in the deck for bt12, it works great. venusmons effect stays active after digivolving into merciful mode and then the next turn you go back into it and trash a security and nullify the beelze stack again with an angewomon, next turn go back into another venusmon.
The deck also runs 4 gazimon so it hits a bunch of these points. Can't wait for the format to hit the UK

  11. Option card Kongou being able to shut off the impmon and baalmons from attacking and doing stuff of course doesn’t work all the time but in early game sometimes people just spam impmons

  12. Yay, advice videos!

The Venusmon suggestion brings up an excellent point, BT12 Beelzemon decks are more dependent on using On Attacking effects to mill for effects like memory gain. So making it so the deck can't swing prevents those effects in another way. So stunning with decks like Blue Hybrid or Blue Flare or not letting them suspend with cards like Quartzmon can potentially hose the deck too.

Small shout out to source strip (my copium) in that they normally save their one or two X-Antibody, if the deck has it, for when they're swinging for game. If you strip off their sources and their Beelzemon is ST or X Antibody, they can't mill anymore. It usually combines with Blue stuns anyway.

  13. This is awesome – I love this type of meta-relevant advice content. Thanks for putting this one together!

Regarding Ominon: Merciful Mode – wouldn't it be best to pull out of trash anything that can have value for Beelzemon's combo turn (along with cards that don't trigger when milled)? So thinking about:

    – EX2 Impmons: Put these back in the deck at the very bottom (ie only as the 9th and 10th) to neuter EX2 Beelzemon's mill effect
    – ST14 Impmons: Towards the very bottom as well to reduce EX2 Beelzemon's mill impact while also keeping their one-of Beelstarmon (if that) from combo'ing off
    – ST14 Beelzemon: Fewer Rivals' Barrage recursion targets, fewer Baalmon "On Deletion" targets
    – Seventh Full Cluster: Less of a priority, but if it's in the deck they can't save themselves from decking out

I 100% agree that the rest should be non-mill activation cards, and do you think any of these should priority "return to deck" targets as well?

  14. Just play darkknight 😂. But for real, mercy mode really is nice to stop warping or send combo pieces to the deck. Another tech is kongo to stop the warp impmon from attacking.

  15. My girlfriend had a really bad time playing against decks that can swing in against unsuspected mons with Beelzamon. The deck doesn't seem like jt has the luxury of hiding out in raising.

  16. Kokuwamon is the best card on this list by far. I'm saying this as a beelzemon player. If you play black and you have room, you should play it. The can't play by effects isn't as effective but it can come up more consistently than memory blockers.

  17. I think Mekanorimon is a somewhat good counter because it stops the Impmon from attacking security. It has the same problem the other floodgates do of getting deleted by Beelzemon's option cards and effects, but it can stall at least while you build up resources.

  18. Thank you very much Mario! I were looking for this kind of stuff for a long time! I'm from Panamá btw and I play bwg (my fav digimon) and I hadn't been able to win consistently against Beelzemon with my build. Now I gonna try to add some of this card. (I almost retire until bt13😂, but this video gave me hope)
