How America & Britain Train World’s Toughest Soldiers | The Meet

In our new series, ex-SAS soldier Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham and former Delta Force Operator Chris VanSant meet to discuss life as elite special forces operators. As they walk through an abandoned military base, Billy and Chris reveal their near-death experiences in war zones, the extreme pressure of special forces selection and compare the US and UK military elite. Chris tells Billy about the Delta Force squad’s capture of Saddam Hussein in the GWOT. As they reflect on life after the army, they share their darkest moments as veterans and remember their fallen friends.

  1. Big difference between kids growing up. One from Delaware talking about a fast baseball being tossed by his dad at him and the the other from England gang land talking about being stabbed in the back who almost died. I’ll take the the bloke who learned about possible death at a young age. Either way, good to know we are on the same side.
