  1. Hi everybody! I’m Jason-Christopher Mayer, the writer/director/editor of The Sound. After a year on the film festival market, I am happy for everyone to now watch the short publicly!

  2. This could be…
    TERRIFYING!
    Because it is.

    Ready for the big screen?

    Can you imagine watching
    Your sister's head explode
    right in front of you?
    She was so stunned,
    she didn't scream.

    Yes, I know she's deaf.
    (Waiting for the comments )

    Right before each event,
    the person bleeds.

    Some kind of sound and
    Bio weapon combination?

  4. That was good! Really well-done. The soundless parts helped to add tension, and the acting of both actors felt really natural and very sisterly. I'm curious if you all had an HoH consultant when making it, and maybe even if Lily's actor really was deaf or just playing that. Also curious just what the sound was that made Allison blow and if Lily only survived because of her deafness (I can think of a few legends that have that effect). Great work!

  5. Its similar like what i experience now. Im terrorised by my neigbour and their gank. With their speaker around my house that they install. They make wave sound that make your body ache or hurt. Everywhere i go to the side of the town my neigbour friends always playing that sound. They share my face in their group. So wherever i go they terror me. Im not go to the police becoz their backing are ocnum police and army too. So i face this shit alone. My shit family doesnt believe me and said i am in hallucination. I dont know where is god. In their side or my side. Maybe you can take this for your horror movie storyline 🙂

  7. Well, that seemed to be little more than in service of a jump scare which is a shame because I was enjoying the possibilities until then. However, it seems most everyone loves it so congrats. The actresses were gorgeous!

  8. It had me intrigued and at the edge of my seat wondering what in the world was going on. Then when the woman went outside for a cigarette, I saw this white figure to the right of her near the house. I had to rewind it again to be sure, and I was like OMG they aren't alone! I figured they'd go into a room and find some monster or entity, but they didn't really show much and then THAT HAPPENED (you know the scene at the very end)! My jaw dropped; that was something I was definitely not expecting. The two women were great actresses, and this would have been a movie that I would have liked to see in a full-length film because it was so cool. I thought the special effects were awesome. Anyways, I loved this short; thank you so much for the upload. I really appreciate it and it was definitely entertaining 👍👌
