You guys keep talking about how Ike Perlmutter was the driving force behind the MCU, but really ignore how much of a creative force Avi Arad was for much of the initial MCU.
I bring this up being honestly if there was anyone I would bring in to fix the MCU, it would be Arad.
Everything they touch turns to shit. Look what they did to Doctor Who.
Bob "scarecrow" Iger has said he is going to change things many times. I did not believe it then and I do not believe it now. He is trying to please everyone at the same time. It does not work. You can not change the mind of someone who thinks that they are right. Arrogance is the road to destruction. No matter how often you point it out to them, they will not listen. It is NEVER their fault. Arrogance is a growing problem with those who are in charge of this country.
Media sites & lots of writers are of the social-political left themselves, so they'll obviously avoid citing their own ideology as a cause for Disney's failures. In a way, however, their lack of political clarity isn't surprising. After all, even a lot of apolitical or non-leftist, conservative or rightist people use "woke" as sort of a code word for liberalism or leftism. It's like everyone is uncomfortable citing the political biases behind so-called woke. Or what has traditionally been labeled as progressivism (itself another code word), liberalism, leftism. BTW, the idea of good ("good") intentions absolving guilt is the biggest bunch of baloney this side of Joseph Stalin crying for the proletariat. Or Mao Tse-tung groaning about the peasant. Or Adolf Hitler hand-wringing over the rights of animals. Hey, Bambi, Simba, Dumbo, the 101 Dalmatians, etc, would have loved him!
Iger needs to go! Plain and simple. Oh, and take Feige and Kennedy with him.

Disney needs that hostile takeover with leaders that are Apolitical. And Jon Favreau should take the reigns of Marvel. He's an actual fan of the books that made these characters famous and loved by millions of fans across generations.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Feige has ADHD, and isn't particularly bright in the first place.

Hey Disney, hire me to replace him. You want Secret Wars? Ok, I'll do that, but it will be the ORIGINAL Secret Wars from the 80's. All the Heroes against all the Villains. It would be the PERFECT way to introduce the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and any other properties. It also introduces The Beyonder, who truely IS a Universal threat.

I mean, the Kamikoto knives were a scam in terms of quality. Same with Established Titles. Multiple predatory mobile games. Surf Shark might have been the only one that was legit fine.
I suspect people no longer trust Disney as a family/child safe brand… that and if people wait it’ll be on streaming.
