This perpetuates some horrible stereotypes and harm toward anyone with a disfigurement, especially anyone with facial differences. Why is he the butt of jokes for the way he looks? Sure, he exercises some agency, but that does not excuse the fact that his appearance IS THE JOKE. This is Elephant Man 2024, and it is just as harmful and violent as ever. Do better, #SNL49 #SNL

So many people feel very hurt by this sketch. Just, why? Why make this now? It's incredibly hurtful and amazingly distasteful. Do you realize that there are kids with facial differences seeing this? This going around at school, kids making fun of them? If you want to watch media using disabled people being the butt of the joke, watch some things from a couple years ago. We have enough of that. Make new things.
