I was really hoping for some sort of tease at Gamescom or Back to Hogwarts Day, but at this point I do think nothing will be announced until after the Switch release. May be the 2023 Game Awards or early 2024.

I think Hogwarts legacy has a chance
of getting DLC and game of the year and I still play Hogwarts legacy
This or Star Wars was my GOTY until Baldurs Gate 3 came out
I did absolutely love this game but the story was so riveting I just blasted through everything so quick, felt like there’s not a lot to do at the endgame (fully understand because they made the story so good). Wish there was a way to make the game more sustainable rather than you just having to restart and make a new character.

would love to see a more lifesim approach for Hogwarts Legacy 2. I want to be able to experience life as wizard, run a shop, collect supplies for a shop, whilst doing a story quest. This is a lot to ask for, but I really think the devs could nail it! I would also love to be able to travel to Diagon Alley, the other wizardry schools (maybe for events in-game) and definitely play quidditch!

They need to do a morality meter subroutine. If you can keep your morality meter high enough, then you get a ruin tome. This has spells in it you can use based on your current morality score. Highest score with ancient magic….can block spells created by the Peverell brothers. Spells will disappear if your morality meter drops.
If we don't see year 2 as a dlc then my money is them working in a more online version. I think the important part of Legacy is showing off what they can already do with what they have, especially if they've already started talking about a sequel.

the only thing good about hogwarts legacy is graphics . ACTUAL GAMEPLAY is terrible , it feels like playing a 2010 game . WITCHER 3 feels a lot more modern than hogwarts legacy . i honestly wasted my money on buying this game . i have only 4 hours on it and dont even feel like completing the main storyline. (btw i am a massive harry potter movies fan , i have watched them 10s of times)
Ok, I KNOW the kids are 6th years. But a romance-ish arc with Sebastian or Natsai would be awesome

There will be no dlc quit saying there will be avalanche made a game that has no micro transactions no way to further monetize other than to start with the next anyone who wanted the game has already bought the game outside of switch owners so releasing a dlc just doesn't make any sense they will just start with the next one after the switch release

if other UE4 switch games are any indication, like how KH3 waas handled on the Switch, I'm not putting much stock into this one being a full port, I'd imagine they'll be going with the cloud gaming route that Square Enix went with
I have not finished the game and I am liking every minute of it. So, if I want anything with Hogwarts Legacy 2 is have a "character transfer" and your protagonist choices are affected to the new installment, ages too, and QoL along with new spells, new depth mechanics, new enemies, and a place that Nattie stated her home land and school being much larger with different ways of casting magic. Over all, it is just my view and experience so far.
