Iroh is kind hearted shredded bodybuilder person, one scenario might be he may not be good from starting but his sons death might had changed him or he would be good from starting but just doing his duty for king and kingdom.

Although I appreciate how much the official channel has connected to the fanbase…yeah what they said in that was too much. Yes, Iroh led the attack on Ba Sing Se, but his son passing during said attack made him realize what he was doing was wrong. And like you said, having his Dragon of the West title was for the dragons' sake. Just because he was born in the Fire Nation royal family, doesn't mean he's immediately evil. It's like saying Zuko's daughter Izumi is still evil despite her admitting the Fire Nation had a history of warfare that shouldn't have happened and wanted her nation to stay out of Kuvira's Republic City attack.
Actually iroh is a villian just not in his elder years. Iroh besieged ba sing se and so to the earth kingdom is a villian. To himself and his wife he is the villian for actions taken leading to the death of lu ten. Hell iron himself stated that if he had opposed ozai it would be a rather worthless fight as he has no heir, he's old so his swimmers arent swimming as they once did if at all. So yes there was a time he was a villian to different people but he absolutely was a person with morals unlike his brother whom simply had a viewpoint similar to most princes in the world prior to 1600 that the world of their nation was their toy to amuse themselves with.

Also when Iroh stopped Zhao from attacking Zuko, it was AFTER the Agni Kai. Zhao tried a dirty and Dishonourable attack when Zuko had his back turned. Iroh even telling Zuko not to taint his victory.
He did not intervene in the dual.
Is it possible that Iroh could've stepped in as Zuko's champion against the Ozai using the same argument the Firelord did? Iroh brought Zuko to the meeting, making him responsible for him.
Obviously, it would still be an ill-advised choice. Iroh would never beat his younger brother's ass in front of the Firelord's subjects. It would show weakness and produce doubts in the minds of the warriors.

You know I always hate videos where they (insert character) is actually a villain even though they missed the entire point of the character. This is the reason why I tend to dislike people when they don’t like a character for simply being overrated.

The moment I saw the title of this video, I had a raised eyebrow to say the least and hearing the arguments made from the official channel is so absurd that I couldn't take it seriously. Iroh, my favourite character in Avatar deserves better than this.

I agree that Iroh is not a villain. In the past he was Fire Nation general and he did do his share of bad things. However he reformed himself and made up for it.
