  20. Essay time!

    The reason INT works so well is because the weapon scales with INT When Hoarfrost is applied to it if you use Magic or Cold Affinity.
    The hoarfrost stomp scales with Weapon upgrades, so putting it on an +25 Uchigatana for example is "perfect".

    Now you have two options when applying Hoarfrost stomp, depending on what stat is your main stat.
    You can use the Affinity Cold to get an STR E, DEX B, INT C scaling + cold buildup on the weapon.
    You can also use the Affinity Magic to get an STR E, DEX E, INT B scaling.
    So if you are heavily invested into INT the magic affinity would grant you better results as your Uchi will hit harder since you only have INT.
    Take note that the cold buildup is removed from the weapon slashes however.
    Why not Standard,Heavy,Keen,Quality? picking any of these entirely removes all magic damage the uchi will do, which would be around 2xx damage per hit.

    For the offhand, you can go with a weapon that uses Royal Knight Resolve.
    RKR makes the next attack within 8 seconds amplified, which isnt too crazy for most things.
    But the buff is "bugged". When using sorcery RKR just buffs everything your casting for 8 seconds.
    Dont think that needs more explaination. This also works for Determination Ash.

    You can also Use an offhand staff of your choosing to be able to cast sorceries while still being able to HFS spamm.
    You could for example send an Ranni dark moon slowly flying towards your enemy, as you run up initially and then start HFSing.

    You can also.. buff urself with RKR, get staff out, ranni, start HFSing.
    if you really wanna go crazy.. get a mimic out, and do the above.
    Since the Uchi has inate bloodloss, it pairs well with frostbite. both of you will HFS, and ur mimic will get bloodloss (or you) amplifying the bloodtick.
    Dont forget that HFS also staggers so an critical hit isnt out of the qeustion in some cases.

    you can even maximize your physick bottle to amplify your playstyle even more. hp regen, no FP cost.. 1hit no damage, you name it.

    All in all, endless ways to approach this. and all viable.

    I would get a med.load armour on having enough endurance without using an talismanslot.
    Use the talisman slots to your own discretion. you bad at dodging? amplify your defense with talismans that raise robustness/immunity/phy/non-phy.
    paired with a decent armor you are incredibly tanky while dealing a boat-ton of damage.
    If your good, bump the damagenumbers with offensive talismans. (but do take note of softcaps of stats as you get incredible deminishing returns)
    Reducing the FP cost, increasing Stamina regen, are always good options.
