  1. So basically the galaxy is free real estate for humanity because nobody is interested in the Earth like planets or even many of the resource asteroids and resource rich moons except the ones they themselves used. Guess humanity will become huge trading partners in the future with humanity being the only race that can really work with metals.
What doesn't really make sense is why the aliens never made machines or robots that could smelt iron and other metals or maybe it wasn't cost effective for them to do so and maybe other materials were better for them to use in their technology.

  2. these aliens must not be carbon based. its extremely unlikely other carbon based life would find water toxic.

Sounds like they come from a frozen world, maybe full of liquid methane. Build their ships mostly of plastics and ceramic, or maybe organic materials.

  3. now i so badly want a short snippet from that aggressive despotism annexationistic species ,where say they told their top biologists and military tacticians to colab on scenarios to start simulate how it be to battle this new species 'human' with three main perspectives
    A. lap specimen that got free B. to counter a tactical strike force , or operate one themself with success at strategic targets C. large scale open combat ,and well… the project halts at A. XD because the fictional creature the biologists suggested along with the reaction speeds or material strengths the military engineers suggested for the simulation is no where near real life aka story sets up this preamble in some way and then..

story 'meat' is the admiral that was the front line channel for the news , due to how he hade to retrieve various vanguard troops and provide compensation for a nocked out scientific outpost or two is late to partake in this , though this has allowed him to through espionage get some basic data ,nothing complete but the the basics of what chemicals humans are made up of and some basics of their capabilities ,and said abilities compared to the a few other species of their hyper reactive material based ecosystems evolution

and more or lees has to groan and ask the high command why they they wasted time on producing this simulation crap ? since the biologists , engineers and military tacticians hired not where given any of the HARD BASICS he transmitted ,it was just a waste of time.. to wich the delicious final of it is him telling some coder officers to hotwire in the data he brought and simply disable any simulation variables that cant function with it ..and run the A. simulation agen

wich turns from having a angry dog with flame thrower breath built in lose ….to that of a living vulcano effortlessly just exploding any restraints or cooling hardware for a cell and then rampaging through any security with all projectile or beam weaponry melting mid air or being harmless for it to the point even planet cracking weaponry only is 'discomforting' XD

followed by say 'x hours later' of said admiral being in a conference with the high command pointing out even if the puncture a human space suit , or exo armour one just the breach likely means everything in 1 mile will die or be shattered if its 'inert' material , followed by some brutal mentions , that even if developing a functional space ship weapon it just mean the energies released from a human ship upon destruction likely destroy an entire fleet in the process anyway
