by the way since you talk about fullmetal alchemist, the first anime was made while the manga wasn't complete, the begining is similar, but at some point it start to be a completly different story, brotherhood is the one that was made when the manga was complete and it stay true to the original content, which is one of the best manga ever written.
Brotherhood roughly sums up the first 25 episodes of FMA in like 10 episodes. Then it goes a different direction, closer to the manga.
I will say, watching FMA first added a lot of depth and context into that world and characters.. Plus there’s a couple scenes that that feel rushed in brotherhood recap.

I don't read all the comments, so forgive me if this has already been brought up…but has anyone suggested Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works as potential animes to watch? They are both incredible. It doesn't hurt that Ufotable did the animation…they are both absolutely gorgeous animes to watch. And the story and characters are leaps and bounds better than Demon Slayer.
The brotherhood would be better to watch, can't wait for that! But also so hyped for HunterxHunter..
I can't wait for Fullmetal though.. Like it's totally different kind of anime, but tbh this 2 were both amazing in their own way. Old animes just have very complex storyline & unpredictability.
And FMAB also have one of the best songs of animes,all of its op & closing songs were beautiful.
