Heartbreaking moment Queenโ€™s beloved horse Emma and corgis watch her funeral. The Duke of York, 62, was seen checking on his late motherโ€™s beloved Corgis ahead of her Committal Service in Windsor this afternoon after he was trusted with their care upon her death. Andrew, pictured, who was visibly moved during his motherโ€™s state funeral earlier today took the time to check on her corgis before her committal ceremony. The sovereignโ€™s favourite horse, Emma, was also spotted paying her respects to the Queen as she arrived in Windsor earlier this afternoon, inset.

  1. It was probably one of the most poignant moments of the day and judging by the reaction online it certainly had a great effect on many watching, including me. Who could not be moved by seeing her two lovely pet dogs probably wondering where their Mistress had gone. They probably sensed something wasn't quite right and were just eagerly waiting to see her again. Such sadness it truly breaks your heart. As for the rest of the ceremony: Glorious pageantry and a beautiful send off. My favourite was near the beginning with the massed pipers. Absolutely spine tingling and truly wonderful. The whole thing was done with such perfection and military precision, it makes one proud to be British.

  2. Her Corgis and her horse, Emma, will be just fine. Iโ€™m sure the Queen made provisions for them to be cared for after her death. I canโ€™t imagine an animal lover not thinking of their pets, so Iโ€™m certain they will be perfectly cared for.

  5. All the animals she has loved over the years have now joyfully reunited with her at the Rainbow Bridge, and all left behind will join her there someday as well. It was beautiful that they included her beloved pets so they could say goodbye to their mum. Animals mourn, but they donโ€™t understand where their owner went. Iโ€™m sure they will be well taken care of until they can be reunited with their mummy.๐Ÿ˜ข
