Health News 01 – Anthocyanins vs Zombies #shorts #anthocyanins #zombies #healthnews

2 systematic reviews on the effects of anthocyanins, or the blue/purple pigment in blueberries, purple cauliflower, black rice on older adults have come out in the last 2 years. One review showed significant positive effects in improving or preserving mental processing speed and the other review showed improvements in memory, attention and psychomotor speed AND vascular endothelial function. Now, I don’t know about you, but when the zombie apocalypse hits in just a few short years, I want to be able to think fast and have a well-functioning blood supply for fighting the zombies off. So, plenty of blue/purple coloured fruits and vegies for me!
