  1. It’s wonderful to see you looking so much better. As a mom of five cats and a foster mom who provides hospice care for cats I can tell you that you have to keep your eye on them as cats will compensate a very long time before you know they are sick . Hope your little one is feeling better soon xx

  2. Thank you Russ for welcoming everyone into your heart and home! I love to grab a project and crochet along with you. Even through I can only do very simple patters I never feel judged 😊your warmth and kindness makes the world a better place😇I am so grateful and happy to be counted among your yarn tribe!

  3. Russ, I'm so happy you got the squares and liked them. The stitch on the first square, the pink and gray one, has different names, but I know it as the linen stitch. It's very easy to do and works up fast.

The pot holder, when I was a child, I made them and went door to door, selling them to all my neighbors. I sold them for a dime each. Back in the 60s, that was a lot of money for a little girl. I spent it all on candy at the little store around the block. Fun memories!

Your blanket is beautiful! Keep it up, and before you know it, it will be done. I hope you and Kevin have a great Easter!

  4. One thing I noticed when you crochet…you hold your work very close to your face…..hmmm, maybe I can try holding mine closer. I'm going to keep trying until I do better. Love watching how you do it! LOL 😅

  6. Hi Russ, that blanket is looking stunning looking forward when you have finished it. You were asking what stich was used for the first square it is called the Moss stitch or Linen stich. I am crocheting the Moss stitch right now making a shawl, I love it. I hope Junior will feel better soon. ❤🍁
