  1. I hate that even you don't seem to understand this movie. I'm not a fan of the Halloween Franchise, nor am I a fan of the fan base, but this trilogy is a much more interesting take than anything else this IP has to offer besides the original and Season of the Witch, but even the original is a bore.

The people who hate on this movie are just sheep that are afraid to go against the grain and actually think and consider what they consume. All they want is Michael walking around stabbing people and doing his head tilt. Go watch the other 30 movies in the series then and shut the fuck up about this trilogy if you don't like it. I would hate for these people to have any say in movie making because it would be the same dull formula time and time again. This is probably exactly why John Carpenter didn't even wanna do a sequel with Michael, because he's a boring ass character.

  2. I don’t think there was a way to really save this trilogy, even with the ideas they wanted to try. 2018 was a pretty good movie overall but I’m not the biggest fan of the 3 generations all living at the end. Laurie going full Sarah Conor’s especially since they aren’t related in this timeline. Along with the doctor going crazy for no reason. They tried way to hard with their message in the movie in stead of showing the town slowly losing life.
I know this won’t be popular but I think if they went with what they did in Halloween 4 with Jamie being influenced by the evil. I thought that Alice would become a killer or the influence of evil would get her since she was gripping the knife at the end of Halloween 2018.
Overall they messed up since we learned early on that it was going to be a trilogy so the second movie was doomed from the beginning. Their is also the problem of having Michael Myers showing strong indications of him being supernatural, but trying to change that by making him some weak old man who got his ass beat by scrawny 20 year old.

  3. They disrespected Michael’s legend and… I’m still trying to pretend that this movie doesn’t exist. 2018 and 2021 are the movies I’ll be watching from now on. BECAUSE THEY’RE THE ONLY GOOD ONES!!! 😢

  4. It sure was a bold move to introduce a bunch of brand new characters in the final entry of your trilogy and take away much of the spotlight away from the characters audiences actually care about.

It was an incredibly stupid move, but bold nonetheless.

  5. Michael deserved a better send off.

The storyline with Lori makes no sense. You think they would have did that for Halloween 2018. It makes no sense she was stuck in fear for 40 years, that he "might" come back. Yet when he does comes back, murders her daughter, she's some how over it in 4 years?

I thought maybe they were going to go back to the cult story and that's why he let Corey go. Maybe he was going to possess his body. Or maybe Corey and Michael were related somehow.

Idk. The whole movie is just a mess. It's almost as if they had a love story with no ending and only had an ending for Halloween. So they combined them hoping for the best.

  6. THis should have been corny unfunny guy literally just explains the plot a horror movie for 24 minutes. Come to think of it havent I seen exactly this on another channel? Oh yea dead meat… at least you have a better hair cut than that corny unfunny guy.

  7. Way to blindside your audience by heavily advertising the final showdown, and THEN making the main story about some basic bullied kid. THEN you switch back to Michael. THEN you kill him. THEN THEN you tease he may not be dead. Good themes drive a story

  8. I can't wait to read the novelization of this movie and just see how the book adds details to this movie's story, then again there were plot details that changed between the 2 movie book novelizations

  9. I wanted to love this trilogy so much. I really loved the first film. I was baffled by the second but still had hope for this one. I was so wrong.
The granddaughter is the worst develoution of a character from someone who could’ve been a bad ass but literally became a bubbly boy crazy girl who after EVERYTHING that has happened with her family gets angry at her Grandmother so quickly when that idiot kills himself. The film made no sense. The message was meaningful but means NOTHING without a coherent script or characters

  10. i have been saying that as an original movie its good but as a Halloween movie its bad. like replace lauriw with a different grandmother character and replace michael with another serial killer and it would a be a pretty good original film and bc of that i understand why people like it. i liked it but not as a halloween film.

i was literally watching this in the theater thinking this is good but not as a Halloween movie
my rating was if it was an original film 8 out of 10 stars
as the final halloween film 4 out of 1 stars, we came to see the final showdown between michael and laurie.
but also the way laurie killed michel and the town procession… like they last 10 minutes, how they destroyed michael. i loved all of that.

  11. honestly the complaint that it "makes no sense" for laurie to have movie on from michael after 2018 is wrong.
she's now doing what she should have been doing, living her life, for karen. she's living her life for the daughter she lost and her granddaughter who lost both parents.

  12. I feel like we should make the writer and director go to court for this atrocity. I actually feel like they should be sued for this insane atrocity. This is an actual slaughter to an ICON POWERHOUSE. What a mother fuckin shame. I walked out. I ACTUALLY walked out of the theater. Pathetic.
