Dressing up like a pirate for Halloween, with builds! This year it’s cannons.

00:27 opening fire!
The weapon that fires the missile barrage is called Salvo, and the build options I discuss in this section are mostly focused on allowing you to fire while charging it up, since Nova Drift basically never slows down to let you. This is all about the sensation of a huge opening volley.

5:15 high impact!
This is a basic loadout in Warframe with the Zarr and Hydroid’s Tempest Barrage. I’m most interested in how the concept of a cannon has been adapted to a fast-paced game.

9:29 fire at will!
Arknights has a Defender archetype called the Fortress Defender. While they can block a lot of enemies like many other Defenders can, their primary mechanic is their ability to fire ranged attacks, only at faraway enemies. They’re offensive defensive units, they have big area of effect coverage and secondary effects, they’re a glorious archetype that embodies the feel of cannons.
