  1. Speechless.
Working on a Ford Cosworth DSV designed by Cosworth and Duckworth. OMG. Epic to power of epic. Dream world. I've watched F1 since '72. Cosworth ruled the Tracks just like the British Royal Navy ruled the seas. Keke's car, Ayrton's first drive in an F1 car. Breathtaking. Speechless. What a ridiculous honour and to meet the originals involved in the engine development and Williams Motor Sport. Best YouTube this year. Williams and for an Aussie, Alan Jones F1World Championship. Keke, Alain, Damon, Jacques, Nelson, Nigel.

  2. Was this a full rebuild of the time or was any of it "modernized" for safety? lol back then the driver is inside peak technology of the time but now getting in it you know you are driving outdated tech lol that would be a mind fuck to get over. fun to watch thanks.

  3. After that Ridiculous debacle at Monaco between Mansell & Senna, I have never watched a Monaco GP since and never will. That example just showed how pointless Monaco is, except for sponsors and guests

  4. This video is simply unique. John Judd is in the picture for a moment, Jenson is loitering around, Guy is wearing trousers from the road construction department and then it's a celebration. I'm 53 now and in 1983 I laid the fuel lines on the Tamiya Walter Wolf with such accuracy that I'm still proud today. This format is an absolute pleasure for the true friends of motorsport. One can only be grateful that there are such freaks in the positive sense like Guy. Thanks also to the whole team, a film like this doesn't make itself.

  5. LOL< fellow biker. I once had 86,000 miles on a transit connect van and the service engineer assumed I had been to Ford for new pads, When I told him I'm a biker he changed the nearly new pads anyway as they were over 2 years old. The footage of Pembrey made me laugh as I used to live on the perimeter of the circuit, I was so suprised to see it had been raining. I moved to to the South East in '86 and do not miss Welsh weather. ps I am very proud to wear my Guy Martin replica helmet during winter. open face in the summer obviously and my family saloon develops 450bhp that formula one car looks like a walk in the parkπŸ˜…πŸ˜…

  7. When it comes to the engineering and engines of things I get the chills when I think of all the brains, hands and work that goes into mechanical things. Just to get my hands on one of those engines would make me one happy man

  8. These F1 facilities are literally cleaner than my local hospitals. I like to imagine there's a custodian out of frame mopping up behind Guy as he sheds dirt just walking through the place.

  9. 600 km(per weekend) Γ— 20 races(per year) = 12.000(not 1.200) km per year Γ— 17 years = 204.000 km(not 20.400) Γ· 5 km(average) per lap = 40.800 laps without taking into account the laps in the tests.
    Have a nice day!
