The first 16 minutes of Gotham Knights, showing the game after the Prologue, from the first time you’ll take control of one of the Knights, running you through the basic controls and abilities for both combat and traversal. The opening of the game is set amid the rarefied environs of Gotham University, with the Knights following Batman’s last lead, and on the hunt to find Dr. Kirk Langstrom (known to comic book fans as Man-Bat). After finding that he’s seemingly been murdered before you arrive, you’ll need to investigate the crime scene and fight past members of the Freaks gang, who are trashing the campus, having been emboldened by Batman’s death.

The only thing I don't like about this is that Kirk Langstrom dying in the tutorial means that the game won't have Man-Bat, a villain who is perfect for a video game boss fight.

This looks good so far. I know there’s folks asking for a counter button because they’re so used to the Arkham games, but cmon, this isn’t Arkham and some of you have to accept that. They have to move on from that at some point. Gotta try something different.

Another Triple A built by numbers that the corporations issued! The same goons with a brute at the end. This game looks worse with every new bit of gameplay shown! I know 1 thing I won't be buying this game! Full of loot with numbers so they can capitalise on the money making mechanisms that these corps put into their games and then build all the gameplay around. So desperate to earn as much money as they can possibly get they will do what eva it takes, even if it's to the detriment of the games themselves! It's these corps that are ruining an amazing entertainment! They do it all for greed. Why is everything way better before the corporations start to get involved🤔 I wonder😂 Sport was way better before these fukin corps came in and turned it all into a business and now they are trying to do the dame to gaming. Arkham had a noir atmosphere. Almost like watching a prohibition/Cotton Club gangster/detective movie.
This feels more neo-noir with the colors and lights.
The enemies are just standing there taking the beatings. They have to be much faster and be much more offensive.
This still looks like a major disappointment compared to every game in the Arkham series. The characters and dialogue are just too cringe and the combat looks very janky

Environment: pretty cool
Voice Acting: Nightwing and Red Hood are the only good ones, Batgirl makes her sound too much like a nerd and doesn’t have a stern edge to it and Robin is just off
Combat: mid, i wish you can counter attacks rather than just evade and the shield guy seems like he can be beat in under a min but they tried to prolong it
Grappling: mid
Graphics: pretty good for a “work in progress”
Stealth: aight ig
Overall this first 16 min is not a very good look for the game, ik it’s still a work in progress but this is supposed to show people why they should be excited. they really need to improve it cuz if they keep the game like this it’s gonna fail
