The Bible, God’s word, tells us in the Book of Genesis chapters 1 – 2 of God’s creation of the world and the creation of man and woman. In six days God made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them. On the first day, God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
“For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.” (Exodus 20:11 NASB1995)
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.” (Genesis 1:1-5 NASB1995)
*THE GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS) OF JESUS CHRIST*:
This is the most important message you will ever receive: The gospel of Jesus Christ.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). Our sin separates us from God, who is holy. We are all sinners who need a savior. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23). For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to take away the sins of the world. Jesus shed His blood for our sins. He was perfect and had no sin, but He bore OUR sins on His body on the cross and shed His blood and died as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses (Ephesians 1:7).
Jesus paid it all on the cross. When we put our faith in Him, our sins will be forgiven and we will have salvation and eternal life. After Jesus died on the cross, He was buried, and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Jesus is alive and is now at the right hand of God. Receive forgiveness for your sins today, and receive God’s gift of eternal life, by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior today.
The Bible says “Behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Redeem the time. The Bible tells us that the days are evil (Ephesians 5:17). Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. You do not know what will happen tomorrow. Believe the gospel and trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11)
Pray to God, confessing to Him that you are a sinner who needs to be forgiven for your sins, and that you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to take away your sins, and that He was raised from the dead on the third day. Tell God that you, right now, give Him your sins, and that you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit.
