Germany Announced NEW MOST POWERFUL Tank

Germany’s Rheinmetall has presented its first new battle tank since the 1970s the KF-51 Panther, a successor to the Leopard and Leopard II of the Cold War era with a name recalling the Nazi era Panzerkampfwagen V Panther that served from 1943. The vehicle’s appearance has been widely speculated to be timed to follow the outbreak of war in Ukraine earlier in the year which led to newfound importance being attributed to armoured warfare in Europe. It has been rumoured that Rheinmetall has been working on a new tank since at least 2014-15, when a rise in hostilities with Russia followed by an unveiling of the Russian T-14 Armata next generation tank was seen to have added urgency to such a program. In this video we are going to take a closer look at what makes the KF-51 Panther different to the others.

  1. 20 rounds seems a bit light…………didn't talk much about the acticve protection system………how accurate is it…………should have put all three crew members in a capsule like t-14………….no mortar?……..why………..meh…..does it have good fording ability………59 tons…….how heavy will it be in the future………….i don't know………….should be working on that sixth gen fighter………..better worships…………missiles………..satelite tech………….amphib forces………….tanks aren't done but they aren't the king of battle either………..they weren't even in wwii………….I think germany is retarded sometimes

  2. So the reason the tank got its name from the WWII Panther is as follows.
Germany developed the Panther back then as an answer to the Russian T-34,
Today it is the answer to the T-14 Armata and it was no coincidence that it was presented shortly after the attack on Ukraine.
I think it's a kind of show of force and deterrence.
So he's not called Panther because the developer was a fan of National Socialism or something, but because the Russians should be reminded that Germany still builds the best tanks.

  3. The best feature Rheinmetall hasn't revealed much information about yet is the preshotcounter system, which can detect when an enemy tank is targeting the Panther and can fire their own first shot before the enemy fires their first shot, although I can't figure out how that's possible should be, but this is an absolute dominance over the enemy tanks, since the first shot destruction is very high, especially with the old soft Russian tanks.

  4. The hull of the Panther has not been presented yet either, at the moment the prototype hull is still based on the Leopard 2, the development is still ongoing and will be completed in 2024-2025 and from then on the KF-51 Panther will go into the Mass-produced, and it is not a replacement for the EMBT program of Germany and France due to be completed in 2035.
The autoloader system can also be loaded manually as usual and the magazine holds 20 rounds + 20 in stock, the loading system is currently the fastest in the world and that combined with a 20-round magazine is hell on earth if this cannon is fighting a target xO It can also capture multiple targets at the same time, just like the Leopard 2 can, but the Panther can fight these targets in the shortest possible time thanks to its high rate of fire :O
