New World – How to PROPERLY Gear at Level 60!

The current “watermarking” crazy in New World has gotten out of hand. Time to put it to rest. This is the PROPER way you should be gearing at level 60. So many people aren’t accustomed to how gear works or what perks can roll on what types of gear. The majority of your time spent should not be put to waste on a legendary quest or opening countless chests day after day to increase an arbitrary number to give you higher gear score loot that will never roll what you actually need.

Instead, just spend your time being resourceful and get the stats, perks, and equipment type specific for your dream build. Don’t waste days on end farming chests for crappy greens to boost the base stats. Base stats VS proper perks people. Learn which is more valuable.

  3. Its like you don't like playing MMORPGS. You are being negative about grinding and spending days getting a slight upgrade. That is what it is all about… I wish it took longer. I got my complete faction 520 set and 2 weapons in 4 hours. It was not rewarding.

  4. You’re idea of trash might be someone else’s idea of treasure… everyone plays the game differently in their own way so to say that the tanking axe’s are garbage, it’s actually gold to those playing mostly pve lol

  5. The company you're with 'The Enclave' has a long history of racism and bigotry in other games. Upper Echelon Gamers talked about it in his recent video. If you weren't aware of this, it would be better to leave, and if you were, then you've just lost all respect from a lot of people.

  6. Hey, I like most of your videos but I personally feel this one you lacked information. Also, 10% increase in damage when we are talking endgame to most would be considered a good amount because of all the modifiers that will benefit from it. Still like your videos though, just not this one.

  7. I absolutely love the concepts you break down in your video. I think you are spot on about what gear matters and what does not.

However… "A 600 gear score is ONLY 20% more damage" okay that's a lot of damage…. and everything you're saying about mods would still apply to a 590-600 GS item too.

For example: "The Rogue mod can make a 520 GS do the same DPS as a 600 GS item"
Sure, it can. But a 600 GS item WITH Rogue would then be vastly better.

So really HOW to judge gear – this is very good info

But saying 600 GS isn't important for a "measly 20% damage increase" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. 20% is HUGE.
20% is the difference between 8 hits and 10 hits to kill.

So I will take this advice when I am crafting my gear 500+ and try to get the relevant perks and avoid irrelevant perks but from THIS VIDEO GS definitely does matter. 20% is huge and the closer I can get to that, the better.
