From false claims about his finances, religion, and even his education, we’ve heard an array of proven lies from Rep. George Santos. CBS Reports producer and reporter Erica Brown spoke with CBS2’s Dick Brennan about the documentary.

  1. Santos's constituents were sold a bill of goods by an inadequate sociopath who has no more qualifications to operate in the US government than my cat, they have every right to demand his removal and imprisonment. Time for another "amendment" folks, for nut cases!!! 🙄🤭🤫🤔🥴🤨🤣

  2. The problem is lying has become an accepted part of politics – it’s like sport teams – even if your team makes all sorts of mistakes during the season to lose so many games – BUT it’s still your team – no matter what.

And because of that, POLITICIANS CHOOSE to LIE.

Republicans won’t expose Santos because they’re guilty of so many lies themselves.

  3. .Campaign of Deceit” could easily be about Trump – but money lies better. They will hound Santos out of politics forever.

The only career Santos could ever aspire to is musical theatre – as the drag queen who became a congressman.

He’ll write a bestselling book, they’ll make Halloween customs of him, he’ll sell t-shirts. He’ll make money somehow.

In our society – because of how we process information through a capitalist mindset – “bad guys” make money and we call them successful!!!

  4. Can this shameless ignoramus ever experience embarrassment? Can he actually tell truth from lies?
Is it any wonder he is yet another vacuous acolyte to 45- his shameless Ignoramus-in-Chief?

  5. It would be great if this documentary shows all of the rhetoric that supports this guy and keeps him in office. There seems to be a landslide of misinformation allowed anything goes to get into office. Case in point Sinema. How is it accepted that a person enters their job in one party and changes it very shortly thereafter. In most cases that would be considered some sort of fraud. The voters that elected her did not like an independent they elected a Democrat. Maybe there needs to be some guidelines on who is allowed to run and some basic screening on background and mental health. How many jobs have to have these things before you can get a job. And yet we let the people who are tasked with changing and improving the United States we let anybody in clowns jokers liars thieves. Politicians mostly smoking mirrors. Also the founding fathers which everybody likes to espouse did not plan for lifetime jobs. The original plan was you go into office you do your duty and then somebody else follows you. It's interesting that people accept that politicians believe they have to stay in office in order to do a good job and you have to have been in office for a long time in order to do a good job none of that is true. Bottom line we need new people in office that have been thoroughly vetted before elections. Do you see any laws like that coming along do you think the incumbents are going to even consider anything like this?

  6. I had a friend that used to lie about his career. He walked around in the same suit or hospital scrubs saying he was a lawyer and doctor. The bad part is that he believed his own lies! That's what santos is, a pathetic liar who wants attention. We need to stop giving attention to his lies!!!

  7. McCarthy, Greene, Gaetz, Stefanik are supporting and allowing George Santos to be in Congress.

Republicans failed with Herschel Walker and will do so with Santos.

  8. Absolutely makes America a laughingstock. Imagine all the conservatives who've spent the past 6 years defending their party against accusations of harboring con-men and criminals….to then watch their party leadership actively and openly protect and harbor a legitimate con-man and international criminal
