  1. Correct Title is Seminole Uprising 1955. Cavalry Lieutenant Can Elliott is ordered to bring in Seminole Indian chief Black Cat, who is leading his tribe in a campaign of terror and bloodshed. Black Cat kidnaps Susan Hannah, daughter of Colonel Hannah and the girl Cam loves, planning to trade her to renegade white men for guns. Cam pursues the Seminoles, and after a bloody battle in which his small force kills hundred of Seminoles with avalanche and fire, forces Black Cat's surrender. Stars George Montgomery Karin Booth, William Fawcett.

  2. The one thing wrong with this film is the ugly blonde with the rotten personality that they are all fighting over.
The only one that should have been scalped is the casting director that cast her. 🥴

  3. Excellent movie up until the very end, which ending was moronic, stupid and almost ruined the entire film. Still worth a watch. Great acting. Beautiful scenery. I fail to comprehend why anyone would have been in love with the over the hill 100 year old woman. Wish they would have cast someone attractive in that role.

  4. Seminoles in Texas??? Not hardly and having them wear PLAINS attire? They wouldn't have been caught dead wearing the clothing of another Tribe!
And Lipan Apaches, iving in tipis? Whoever their Native American advisor was shoulf have been sht and then, replaced with someoe that had ay least SOME knowledge of Native people!
Wow, amazing that this got off the ground!

  5. Typical phony movie written by idiots in Hollywood that know Nothing about Indians.. Seminoles Never wore full eagle headdresses.. The Seminoles in TX were called Black Seminole.. After slavery was abolished in Spanish Florida the region became a haven for both freed and refugee slaves from other areas.. Some were enslaved by other Indian nations, while others assimilated into the Seminole nation.

When the Civil War came to Florida many of the Black Seminole ran west.. They did NOT adopt the clothing of headdresses of the western Plains nations, as in this movie.. And NO Indian, except a few in the Great Lakes region, ever used loomed beadwork until the tourist trade began many years later, and Indians were paid to mass produce bead work rather than their traditional lazy stitch and applique bead work.

  6. A great weatern and coming from somebody who hates weatern't that is praise indeed – well done to all involved from the director down to the non speaking extras [even if most of the "Indians"] seemed to need to use saddles and stirrups! Nothing to do with the people involved but if you need to have lots of "Indians" with Indian skills and you can't find any – what has a director got to do under the circumstances!
