Since buying Massive Noise Injection in 1993 I wondered how Jase made that noise at the end of the first solo. Seeing them live, I realised that he was hitting the guitar. I mentioned this to him after the show and he said that it was “Knocking the door” I was slightly confused “Knocking the door to tell Mrs Wilson that something’s wrong with Kathy”. My mind was blown!
I also asked about his back, Blaze had earlier mentioned that he had a fractured vertebrae and came out of hospital in a wheelchair. “He wasn’t exaggerating”, someone else commented he must be on good painkillers, “Very good painkillers!”.
As you can see, the band were on fine form and despite being a fairly small crowd in a fairly small venue the energy of the band and of the audience was amazing.
