This is one of the problems of our times. Every person, group, political group, ethnicity, religion etc. have their lists. And those lists change over time.
And by the nature of the Internet, you may say or write something today, which is perfectly fine "by all lists", then 10 years from now one of the above puts a word in the list, and you suddenly retrospectively become something'ist and get the flak.

Love your channel! You are, without question, the best, most on-point reactor I've experienced this far on YOUTUBE. Keep it up. One note to ponder; Lenny Bruce, an acerbic comic circa 50s & early 60s, for all his faults (and they were many, i.e. heavy drug use) was one of Carlin's early mentors. Lenny was very vocal about language IN CONTEXT. It was one of the things that got him in trouble with the "morality police", just as it did Carlin. It would be interesting to consider both men & how their lives & careers fit (or didn't fit) in the context of the society & culture of their times. Just a thought.
Mentioning Wittgenstein's book reminded me of "Nineteen Eighty-Four" in which 'Newspeak' and the limiting of vocabulary are utilized to control the masses' thought processes. Unfortunately I haven't read more of Eric Blair (George Orwell)'s works, but I'll assume he discussed the control of the masses by controlling their language before his last novel.

Back in the day comedians were actually arrested and jailed for certain words due to a "Community Standard" Supreme Court rule which let towns and cities outlaw things that were legal elsewhere.
