  1. It is only LOGIC if the supposition ends in death. But IF there's IS an afterlife the possibilities are exponentially expanded. There is no longer a base from which to measure logic.
That proposal can be neither be verified nor disproven. Stalemate for now.

  2. The funny thing is is that it doesn't say anything like this in the Bible. In fact Jesus actually talked about a man who was in hell pleading that God would warn his brother and sisters not to end up where he was at and Father Abraham turned around and told him well you know they've got the law and the prophets right? What makes you think that if I caused a man to come back from the dead to warn them that they would listen to him?????

  3. Why can't liberals understand that … belief …. empowers you … belief in a god that clearly is not right in front of you equals BELIEF IN YOURSELF. ..the brain does not differentiate between god and yourself. .. to your brain it's just BELIEF. .

  4. This is what happens when everyone interprets the bible for themselves and strays from the Orthodox Church which was founded by Christ on His resurrection in 33 A.D.

The church that put together the bible, and in fact Roman Catholics and Protestants leave a number of books out.

The church that was before the bible, that made the bible, and that knows, you can't just read the bible and believe whatever you think is logical, because otherwise you end up with some nutty ideas like David Koresh, and those are called Heresies.

Now, none if that will keep you from going to heaven, however; spreading false information because you read a bit of the bible, or even if you've read it 20 times like I did before becoming Orthodox Christian, does not help, and actually hurts the people around you.

Not something that you want to do if you want to love people like Jesus did.

To the people who insist on calling Him Yeshua, again I remind you of David Koresh. Do you think for one second that God loves you more because you pronounce His name in Hebrew?

That's not the love He died on a cross for.

  5. This short is terrible! It's like it's been purposely edited to NOT be funny. It's a segment that is placed right between punch lines, so all you get is the build up to the joke. If the joke can't fit in a short, leave it out! A real George Carlin fan would not have done this.

  6. I love George Carlin, but he went off the rails on this one. How many times have we seen trouble and strife had a family and it is because of this that challenges, the person to go in a certain direction it is a test or quest to finding out who we are and what we are capable of.
