It's amazing how ancient people created these stories because they knew nothing about space and planets and stars. They also believed our solar system was the only one but we are only one star and set of planets in a galaxy of billions of stars called The Milky Way.
In the beginning there was a bunch of stuff. Over time that stuff did a lot of heating and cooling as it interacted with other stuff. Eventually a planet formed close enough to a star, that it could form an atmosphere. Eventually the chemicals became more complex and eventually life formed and evolved. Until finally human beings evolved in the kingdom of apes. No God necessary.
