  1. Had a though, open world pvp event. "king of the hill" type of flag control like Arathi Basin is, but only three flags. If you hold the bases long enough you then unlock the bosses to fight. Kind of like gatekeeping a boss fight for your own faction. Have an odd number of bosses or bases around the entire zone like that, just so you can have a definite unlock point for your faction to fight for (in terms of bases). Once unlocked then you fight those bosses for PVP loot, almost like winning wintergrasp. Hopefully that makes sense, would be a different take on a pvp event. Cheers

  2. You used a DPS Shadow Priest and Elemental Shaman as your examples for a hybrid tax. But both of them also have other utilities, healing. There is now only one non hybrid class in game and it's Hunter.

  3. Interview Question: Was having the logout skip at the beginning of BFD tunnel intentional? Because they added the new Spirit healer and I'm wondering if they knew about it before launch and just left it.

  4. idk man, I feel like Greenfield's answer is kind of a cop-out. I think there are some aspects of classic wow worth keeping for that old mmo feel. However, there are things that were introduced over time that only enhanced the enjoyment of the game. Imagine my surprise when I joined a bfd thinking I had everything I needed but forgot a minor detail in rotation. Most people look up rotations, bis, etc. Having the ability to test and even maximize them before going into a raid and looking like an idiot, I think, is a good thing. Barber shop only enhances customization of your character: lets say you get a rogue bandana around your face and you want a cool mohawk sticking out at the top because you think it looks cooler… why not? Most importantly though, DUAL SPEC. If there's anyone against having this in a game it's a developer trying to justify not putting in the time, money or effort… or some weird person who just gets a weird kick out of it. I have yet to find anyone who'd not want Dual Spec. 99% of all people involved in WoW wants it… Probably more.

I think SoD is a perfect opportunity to implement things into classic to create the perfect, almost sandbox, WoW experience. Also, how can you argue against things like Training Dummies in order to maintain the classic feel when you literally have runes that allow endless grinding for classes that were once boring? Again, I think it was a cop-out answer.

Aside from all that, the Blood Moon thing actually sounds amazing and brings out more reason to PvP during the event. I'm all for that!

  5. I don't think hybrids should underperform pure specs. There should be implementation to allow each class to rise to that number 1 spot for whatever reason, similar to how there aren't really classes in OSRS but you can hybrid out to combat your weak points.

  6. tbf hunters give 10% buff and warriors bring sunder for example. Feral is very hard to play in order to get high damage, A LOT of ferals do not know how to play the game and looking at the 50 percentile (which is the avg player) rogues are on top and ferals 5th under warlocks. What i've seen is my characters do similar damage when performing well on them. I've never felt limited on my characters and usually am top 1-3 damage even on warlock.

  7. Interview Question: Are there plans to introduce more runes focused on changing/reworking existing class spells that arent use due to their inherent design? IE Hunters not using arcane shot/serpent sting(Outside Chimera shot) due to scaling with +spell power rather than attack power? Another example is mages/priests not using opposite schools of magic(possible lunar/solar type system)?

  8. Interveiw question: can we get some better balance to loot tables? Everyone obviously want the best items but their are a ton of items that dont make sense. Example: dagger off 2nd to last boss in BFD having a whole 4 sp. Also the neck that had 6 stam 4 defense when defense holds almost no value at 25. Just need gear that makes sense. Maybe add more loot drops per boss would help a bunch too.

  9. Interview question: With how vocal the community is on feedback as well as requests for specific features, I.e dual spec, what process do you all go through in the process of potential implementation of new features? Is there a checklist the would-be feature needs to pass?
