I pay full price for games because I don’t want ads. EA can add them, I just won’t buy/play them.

The only way we'll stop ads in out games is with a hard line in the sand. Never purchas a game with ads and they won't sell games with ads.

Boycott any AAA game with in-game ads. Make scumbags like EA understand that trying to add that crap will cost them so much more than they could ever hope to make.

To be honest, EA's appraoch on ads in AAA games is not nessarily a bad thing if done properly. In the current state, AAA games are just not making money, which is why everyone is making mobile games with psuedo gambling in game purchase. And if the developers are lacking development funds, they will created shitty AAA games. So other sources of income is a must in the future of AAA games. For example, F1 can make adds and sponcor boards to the side of the track, which is also true in real life, or in games like cyberpunk, you can be driving a honda instead of an imagenary brand. These can be useful in advertising, and doesn't not afect the player experiense in general.
But of course, it is limited to when done properly.
EA are C…., even more reason to steer clear of their games.

I think it's hilarious that Square Enix is deciding to bring in western devs as if that'll help their quality. They will lose all the charm of their games for generic western crap…Square is done.
Even less of a reason to buy games by EA.

As we say in the UK… bollocks. You don't buy a game, especially at what they sell for as new and expect adds anywhere during play. It's a game, NOT a TV show. Bad trend from streaming companies starting adds.
