  1. Stem cell research is real. A stem cell is a cell that haven't been "designated" a postion. It could be a heart cell, a skin cell etc. The theory is by injecting stem cells into the damaged part of the spine (or any other damaged area) they turn into new cells replacing the old ones.

  2. The stem cell thing was pretty controversial at the time. Yes, at that time the only way to get stem-cells was to harvest them at birth from a newborn, or the mothers umbilical cord. However, the whole trajectory of stem-cell science changed when they discovered a way to harvest a person's own marrow and spinal fluid and trigger those cells into reverting back to stem-cells. So, harvesting them at birth or from babies just vanished from the pop culture.

  3. My dad made fun of handicapped kids at school. My oldest half brother came out looking like he had Down Syndrome with a clubbed foot. My mom made fun of & tripped her brother with Muscular Dystrophy all the time. My full brother and I got MD too. So there is something to making fun of disabilities.

  4. why the word negro is something bad there?
is like a slur in the english-speaker countries?
it literally means black color or black person in spanish depending on the sentence

  5. No you don't suck stem cells from a fetus. Turns out the comedy show wasnt the best place to get actual facts from. Also never listen to a "YouTube influencer" for scientific information.
