Hyderabad: With an aim to promote cat adoption, Mars Petcare along with Vets’ Society for Animal Welfare and Rural Development (VSAWRD) organized a cat show in the city on Sunday. The event witnessed participation of over 80 cats and cat parents. Director of Animal Husbandry, S Ramchander, was the chief guest of the event.

The event, which was powered by Feline Club of India, was a platform to encourage animal lovers to be more accepting of adopting cats, especially stray cats and to take a step forward towards creating a better place for pets. The cat show categories included Top 5 Kittens, Top 5 Adults and Top 10 Best in the Show.

Hyderabad: With an aim to promote cat adoption, Mars Petcare along with Vets’ Society for Animal Welfare and Rural Development (VSAWRD) organized a cat show in the city on Sunday. The event witnessed participation of over 80 cats and cat parents. Director of Animal Husbandry, S Ramchander, was the chief guest of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Ramani, General Manager, Mars Petcare India said, “The Cat Show 2021’ is a platform to bring together cat lovers and cat parents and to celebrate and encourage stray cat adoption among people. We will continue our work with organisations like VSAWRD to undertake initiatives for these pets to be more wanted, cared for and welcomed in our lives.
