About the Project:
Sunset City is a series based on the US state of Florida. Not just taking inspiration from the most iconic tourist destinations or glamorous beaches, Sunset City will focus on capturing the entire state from North to South. We will cover such cities as Miami, Tampa and Orlando, as well as some towns in between. Most importantly Florida’s natural landscaping spanning from the tropical beaches to the vast wetlands of the Everglades.

  1. Cuba should be self-contained and self-sufficient. It would be its own in-game experiment, just like real life lol. And if somebody has created a grungy sort of architecture style then definitely make it an entire island-specific building style. I suppose any Hispanic building style would work but the truth is that Cuba is pretty run down and worn out. It would be amazing if you could import Tropico buildings into CS. Regardless, if you're able I think it should be a fully self-contained area, maybe a whole district with its own unique Hispanic style, ugly roads, little modern infrastructure, crap services, dirty power plants, tobacco farms, cigar factories, an oil refinery. Literally just make it a bit crap.

  2. It's so frustrating watching the live stream after the fact. The small roads would have an entrance to cross. The medium highway you would cross with a small intersection directly with small turn lanes. This is dangerous and many highways are being changed to reroute traffic from crossing the whole road. The large interstate you would not cross and have an off-ramp and over/under pass.. The sites you were viewing on Google maps was a rest area- made for stops on long highways. Gas stations are not built in the middle of no where because of the costs vs how many people would actually stop. They would be built with some infrastructure near by, such as a bar, church, or houses.

  3. Ybor city and east Tampa have some really cool run down and abandoned industrial areas and brick cigar factories. I live and work in downtown Tampa and the development is more new and urbanized the further west you go (closer towards the water) and is more run down and industrial the further east you go (inland)
