SAETA Flight 232 took off from Ecuador’s Mariscal Sucre Airport with 59 souls on board for a short hop internal flight to the city of Cuenca. It never arrived. Seemingly having vanished into thin air, anxious relatives waited for news of their loved ones. It would turn out to be a very long wait indeed…..
