  11. In the U.S. and foreign policy, we can't do more than one thing at a time, maybe two if we're lucky. Israel-Hamas war, especially with AIPAC's money and its power over politicians from both major parties, is taking up all the oxygen in the room, and the Ukraine war, Taiwan, the dangers of North Korea, I would say Iran but that's tied into the Israel-Hamas war, all are a very distant second fiddle.

  14. I mean… Socialism in Cuba isn't a problem. America just makes it a problem out of a flawed need to destroy the example of an alternative economic society in their back yard. I've been to Havana on a school trip. Was there for 2 weeks. It's gorgeous. The people are chill af. Shit loads of European tourists everywhere.

  29. Have to disagree with Georgie a bit. Ukraine’s in Europe, but not in the European Union. They are not synonymous, and it’s basic geography. Also, the far-right in Europe is just as bad as the far-right in the US. The far-right in Germany and Austria peddle neo-Nazi principles. They are staunchly anti-Ukraine. They are anti-immigration. The far-right in Poland completely banned abortion, and outlawed the teaching of Poland’s role in the Holocaust. The European far-right might not be anti-public healthcare, but they are equally racist, homophobic, misogynistic and pro-Russian as America’s. Italy’s so far is the only exception.

  34. Kazakhstan have alot of natural recourses like uranium and oil for example. and sell alot of these recourses to the west. if Russia invaded Kazakhstan we would have another global energy crisis

  37. Oh Ryan, you sweet summer child. You still think putler might not know that he's hurting his people and that's why he doesn't act differently.

    Sorry, but putler doesn't give a fuvk about his people, especially not the poor ones who will be affected the most. Seriously, any of you who can't imagine behaving this way, look up the Kursk submarine disaster early in putler's first presidency. He let his guys just die. Because he never cared. It's this KGB culture.
    Any idea of "oh, if he only realized that his people are suffering and how many people he's lost, then he'd come around" is naive.

    Putler must be stopped by force. He's not going to find a conscious or morals, ever. And the real problem is that he knows full well that when he gives up, he'll be killed by his colleagues. Macron wasn't all that wrong when he tried to offer putler off-ramps early on. He didn't take them and now he's boxed himself in a corner.
