  1. I remember Tiafoe playing Novak at the Australian open last year and it was a very, very competitive match that could have gone either way. I suspected Tiafoe was the real deal, but one match doesn’t mean anything… even though Rafa was not at his best for this match, I am now convinced that Tiafoe is a genuine top 10 player… I would love to see him win it all.

  2. What these highlights don't show you was just how BAD Nadal was playing, and he played so bad all tournament compared to his usual level. Hopefully we'll see him back to form at the start of the next season. All credit to Tiafoe though, he played amazingly well

  3. Tiafoe you are great!!! What you did will go down in history. I dislike Nadal very VERY much and I am glad you beat him. Thanks to this, Nadal will not win the 23rd Slam and Novak will be able to overtake him next year.

  4. @theafriyie_ Any player who becomes #1 rn doesn't deserve it for obvious reasons

The establishment's plan was always for Rafa to be #1 again (No wimby points & No fight for Novak at AO &USO explains it), I'm GLAD it won't happen. I can stomach Ruud becoming the faux #1 after the Moderna Open
