I mean there’s so much to say about these Dreamscape tapes, but if I had to point out one-… not scary but chilling detail- it would have to be this industrial hum around you. It is creepy init of itself, but also reinforces the lore of these tapes that you are a subject that is being mentally tested on in a lab. You can almost imagine the near pitch-black lab they have you in.
Edit: The sound design in general. I know you changed the Balloon Boy sound in the remake, but this one scared the everliving sh*t out of me. And I know Chica’s not in this one, but her laugh is chilling. Well done all around.
I love how the noise for when Bonnie makes a beeline to our poor boi is not loud at all, so you can still get properly jumpscared without losing your hearing.
