Flooded tracks! CHAOS in the High Country mountains…

In this episode we attempt to continue our journey through the Victorian High Country towards Walhalla. With all the recent rain, the mountains were flooded and this was going to be harder than we expected.

  1. Hey! This episode was meant to be out Sunday but my laptop blew up last week and couldn't get it out. Got everything back up and running now so figured I'd pop it up Wednesday arvo, hope you guys enjoy!

  2. I remember doing a tyre on the way down Grimme's and having to find a semi flat spot to be able to change out to the spare… Worse still was it was only a few months old…😞

And that campsite just above Caledonia falls is awesome… Pretty sure you setup right where I had my tent !!

  3. Trout tips. Fish them just below the rocks in the white water. They're just hanging out, waiting for the food to come to them. If they're there, you'll get one every cast😊 been a fun trip to watch, Tyler! Can't wait for the next episode❀

  4. Great vid mate.
Should consider Gary having a camera inside his MUX so as to see what he is thinking when driving up the areas the Patrols are.
It is a different driving style and would be interesting for others I presume

  5. I reckon ya need to borrow ya old mans MUX one week and do a sneaky live axle front end, front locker and a set of tall skinny 33s….then give it back to him and let him drive rings around the old GQs. And if ya want another old school patrol to showcase on your channel one day, i have an old dual cab MQ patrol ute thats a bit…different…..

  6. Ky"s a great part of your team , good humour and great on the camera , keep up all your work guy's 😎. Did that fuel β›½ say $257.5 per litre? That's just taking the piss , no way they have that much delivery tax? Pitty that would keep people that are struggling a bit away from the trip through the High Country!

  7. This is starting to become Patrols are us with the odd appearance of a MUX. I really preferred when he still had the Nav And Patrol it gave a bit of variation. There is enough big lift and tyre patrol videos on YouTube already.

  8. Great work guys, Got to love what the Vic high country has to offer, and conditions can change very fast, How good are the Cascades, Camped there many times. One time I camped at that spot We had sun at the bottom then it snowed at the top, and the track use to be a real challenge back in the day. You mad the right move by not crossing the Macalister river mate, Its a notorious crossing also with a big rock to the right upstream.

  9. Glad you changed your mind on that crossing yes you could walk but it was close to pushing you over…100% your vehicles would of been pushed till your foot wells filled weighing you back down….and then your probably way out of line for the exit πŸ˜‰ the recovery if possible would of made great content though 😊 If you boys maybe hooked up the winch from second to lead 3rd to second crossing one at a time if keen maybe of been possible πŸ˜‰ using the daisy chain method. If it's a fail at least your already hooked up ready for recovery and shouldn't of drifted far…

  10. Great vid. That scrably bit a kilometre in on Burgoynes is where a car went off just before Nye. A group of us came the other way and spotted it Nye. Glad they were ok. Water was just up to bonnet on my GQRB30 with 33s and 3 inch lift. Was a great drive

  11. Mate would love to see you guys go further with the Isuzu build! Even just an extra inch of lift, 33s and a front locker and I rekon it would climb up some pretty ridiculous stuff. I remember the front diff blew once or twice with the MUX in the past, going harrop front locker would completely eliminate that issue
