  1. I hate to be a downer, but come on, this is going to bomb so hard if they actually release it. It’s at least 5-6 years too late, I get there are fans, but are you making a movie for what $100,000 people?
The biggest challenge they’ll have is bringing general audiences to the theatre, and they’ve already seen a few movies like this by now and will just see this as “another one”, there’s just not many scenarios where this does well. Let it die, it’s too late, even when it was slated to release was too late, it will just be like the Slenderman movie, it’ll come out, people will laugh at how behind it is and then completely forget it happened.

  2. I was definitely more excited 5 years ago for this movie than as of present day but I feel like when this movie does come out the writing will be perfect and it will make you walk out of that theatre wanting more

  3. Sounds like the movie is back to phase one but not like before. At the end of the day it sounds like to me from a business perspective they are going to try and crank this movie out within the next two years. My personal guess is Halloween of 2023.

  4. Scott obviously isn’t selling right to FNaF anytime soon until the movie comes out. You really think he would sell right when there’s still massive money to be made from the franchise? The only way I can see him selling rights right now is if the contract has it where Scott still gains royalties from all fnaf products.

  5. They need the Director of Willys Wonderland he be the right person to make five nights at Freddy movie. Because his film is dark and funny he be the right person to make the five nights of Freddy movie stay true of the game.

  6. I swear, all I hear from this movie is "director is gone", "scripted is scraped", and "it's still happening". Like I'm sicked for the movie, but dam it's been years. I do hope their time wasn't wasted.

  7. I’m fine with waiting however long, it’s a hard movie to pull off, I don’t want it rushed, I heard security breach was rushed, it was cool to me, but u can tell it was a bit rushed, so I hope they take their time with the movie, I just don’t want em to give up😭

  8. The movie could have taken the FNAF book stories to put into the movie. Yes, the FNAF book stories are very different from the video games' stories. Yet, fans gobble up the FNAF book lore like they are canon to FNAF.

  9. Here’s how I see it! Scott’s to do list is almost empty now. Everything is now more of him just overseeing the series, besides the movie. His hand work is just on the film now. So, I definitely see them getting big news sooner than they have before. I’m still confused why it took SO LONG to just say “yeah. We’re back to step 1”

  10. It's also a bad look delaying your movie for nearly a decade reminding people it's still happening but that we've made no real progress, especially when other studios adapt the same idea and make movies that are released in the mean time

  11. You missed a detail my guy, their is a script that at least Scott is happy with
But if Blum thinks that directors have a better vision with scripts, perhaps the directors being picked aren't happy with working with script that tight

  12. As I always say can’t rush perfection games movies almost never get the satisfaction from fans and I think they are being very careful on who they want as the FNAF director and just wants a director that knows the ins and outs of the movie
