创世纪 1:1-13
1 In the beginning,
起初
God created
上帝创造
the heavens and the earth.
天地
2 The earth
地
was without form and void,
是空虚混沌
and darkness
黑暗
was over the face of the deep.
笼罩深渊表面
And the Spirit of God
上帝的灵
was hovering
运行
over the face of the waters.
在水面上
3 And God said,
上帝说
“Let there be light,”
要有光
and there was light.
就有了光
4 And God saw
上帝看
that the light was good.
光是好的
And God separated the light
于是上帝将光
from the darkness.
与暗分开
5 God called the light Day,
上帝称光为昼
and the darkness
称暗
he called Night.
为夜
And there was evening
有晚上
and there was morning,
有早晨
the first day.
这是第一日
6 And God said,
上帝说
“Let there be an expanse
要有苍穹（在水中）
in the midst of the waters,
在水中
and let it separate
让它分开（水与水）
the waters from the waters.”
水与水
7 And God
上帝
made the expanse
就造了苍穹
and separated the waters
将水分开为
that were under the expanse from the waters
苍穹以下
that were above the expanse.
和苍穹以上
And it was so.
事就这样成了
8 And God
上帝称
called the expanse Heaven.
苍穹为天
And there was evening
有晚上
and there was morning,
有早晨
the second day.
这是第二日
9 And God said,
上帝说
“Let the waters under the heavens
让天下的水
be gathered together
聚集在一起
into one place,
到一个地方
and let the dry land appear.”
将干的地面露出来
And it was so.
事就这样成了
10 God called
上帝称
the dry land Earth,
干的地面为地
and the waters
水
that were gathered together
那聚集在一起的（水）
he called Seas.
他称之为海
And God saw
上帝看
that it was good.
它是好的
11 And God said,
上帝说
“Let the earth
使地上
sprout vegetation,
萌生蔬菜
plants yielding seed,
栽植种子
and fruit trees bearing fruit
还有累结果子的树
in which is their seed,
果子内有籽粒
each according to its kind,
（在地上）各从其类
on the earth.”
在地上
And it was so.
事就这样成了
12 The earth
地
brought forth vegetation,
长出蔬菜
plants yielding seed
栽植种子
according to their own kinds,
各从其类
and trees bearing fruit
树累结果子
in which is their seed,
果子内有籽粒
each according to its kind.
各从其类
And God saw
上帝看
that it was good.
它是好的
13 And there was evening
有晚上
and there was morning,
有早上
the third day.
