Nick is so uninformed, Mac’s rookie year, the Pats were #6 in points scored. Not 16th or 26th, they were 6th. So he is saying the offense was awful, it wasn’t.
Also, Mac did some things his rookie season that very few rookies have done, ever. 2nd highest completion percentage ever for a rookie. Only 15 rookies have ever passed for 3000 yards and 20+ td passes, Mac was #15 to do it. Only 8 rookie QB’s have ever led their teams to 10 or more wins, he was #8. He was top 10 in yards passed and td passes for rookies.
The man had an excellent season in 2021, not a great ending, but as an overall picture, and excellent rookie season. Finished 2nd to Jamar Chase for offensive rookie of the year.
I think it’s unreasonable to ask a professional charged with doing his job well, who got actively sabotaged as “immature” Mac got booed in his own stadium, listened to chants for the BACKUP and looked unfazed. Didn’t complain to media about it or anything. If he pouted or screamed at PATRICIA bc the offense was shit who cares Patricia was bad
I'm with Wildes on this any qb would've been pissed in that situation I don't care how many superbowls Bill won putting Matt Patricia as the offensive coordinator was a horrible decision. He coached last season like he wanted to sabotage Mac Jones.
NO, Mac Jones did not act maturely. If he was anything other than a sports figure and he acted the way he acted last year, his boss would have fired him. His behavior was unprofessional and he went behind his boss's back and implied that his boss was incompetent. It does not matter whether he was right or wrong in his accessment, he was wrong for acting in an unprofessional manner. Of course Belichick should be looking for a better player at QB.
Mac Jones was not an acceptional player and inadditon he embarassed his bosses by behaving like a child.
I agree with Nick. Tua had just as bad or even worse situation with Flores. 3 ocs and I haven't heard a peep from Tua and i certainly didn't hear a peep from the mainstream media defending Tua at that either.
Honestly, does anyone outside of Beantown give a sh[t about the pathetic Patriots? Once Brady the Goat left, that team became irrelevant. Move on, media. Move on.
Bro find me another NFL team that has ever made a defensive coordinator (and has done it his whole coaching career) a offensive coordinator. Like bro let’s be fr, Mac was 10-7 his rookie year come on and you wanna add coach pencil to replace mcdaniel’s?
In 10 seasons WITHOUT Brady Belichick is a sub .500 coach with 1 playoff win and two appearances and one came in 1995. I don't think Mac will ever be a top 5 -10 QB but it is his career on the line and he was set up for failure. Patricia was a mediocre defensive coordinator and he's calling the offensive plays ? Any other coach would of been fired.
Because no one wants him. 😅
Thank you Wildes, Nick is an absolute idiot when it comes to this topic.
Nick Wright is spot on here
Anyone else do a double take when they heard the name “Andrew Callahan”
If they were trading Mac why would've they bothered hiring Bill O'Brian then
"Ya want to hurt Mac Jones' confidence? Then let him watch his film from last year." Killin it Wright!
Wildes is still acting like Trevor Lawrence and Mac Jones are basically the same. NOT EVEN CLOSE. 😆
Why is FTF Always ahead of Undisputed?
Wright is idiot
Nick is ridiculous

Baby goat is too old joke now…
It’s not jones’ fault Bellicheck is a crappy coach
Bellicheck doesn’t like anyone. But nobody should like him. A grumpy cheater that never owned his cheating if the game
Wildes buddy…y’all couldn’t be the Patriots forever. Good run though!
I'm with Wildes on this any qb would've been pissed in that situation I don't care how many superbowls Bill won putting Matt Patricia as the offensive coordinator was a horrible decision. He coached last season like he wanted to sabotage Mac Jones.
Yo trevor lawrence is a different breed than mac jones lol gtfoh
We were wrong but you can’t blame us
I hate this fucking show , I definitely hate Nick
Nick dropping 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nick is on point on this one.

I'm pretty sure Bill belichick has dementia at this point. He needs to just retire while he's sane.

Mac Jones is not a fucking franchise Qb
Wildes is fighting for Matt😂😂
Bill not just gonna act Mac jones is top 10 QB in the league Mac jones is average and patriots should be willingly trade him
Zappe did better than Max with Patricia as his OC. Should be no excuses

6:42 Hey Google, what’s “accruement” mean?
Nick was so wrong on this take wtf. It’s actually shocking how wrong he is
Trevor Lawrence .. is not that good to bring up his name before Lamar Jackson
I usually don’t agree with nic but I do right here
