  3. the first build is absolutely meaningless, with exalted weapons the damage will be higher. you need to take nodes for damage per time rot with void conversion, and take fire damage not from the base damage of the weapon, but from the legendaries. but there is one problem, I tried this build, damage with a firestarter and a regular scepter with a t7 affix for fire damage do not differ in anything.
    in this particular build, firestarter only reduces damage

  10. I'm kinda surprise no one submitted an ignite sorc build using volcanic orb to apply shit ton of stacks quickly, and enchant weapon to detonate all those 600-700 stacks dealing 3 times the dmg of all those stacks at once for single target.
    Ignite seems to be a no brainer for me for this scepter in end game, since it doesn't give big flat damage as a starter weapon to scale hit damage, , and the multiplier works for all fire damage including ignite ofc. I made this character when the "initial" contest was announced and then cancelled due to bug, then was too busy and missed this one, sad :))

  11. I don't know if that was answered in your stream, maybe it was.
    Build #9 aoe clear is from the spreading flame procs from the weapon. Having more cast speed would make the aoe and single target significantly better. IMHO, that's probably one of the only build listed that did use the full stats on the firestarter weapon instead of simply having a gimped weapon.
    Hungering soul procs from death seal simply increase the number of skulls casted (along with self casting it). Since hungering souls has massive % more multi, it's possible to get the single spreading flame stack to really high damage as well as scaling ignites for more single target. Think of it like a pseudo spirit plague setup.

    That build is something I'm actually working toward, I'm glad someone came up with a ''finalised'' version. My twist on it is to go minion-casted death seal (and keep the 3 golems at roughly 30% hp) stack minion hp whereever possible and use the procced ward gain from the chestpiece as an extra defensive layer.
