  1. Interesting points here, but quite a bit over simplyfied and full of preassumtions. This is one of the most difficult topics to get into and do a deep-dive in.
Don’t know if it is deliberate, but there are some things left out in this video that will affect the conclusion. E.g. local vs global event, jewish timeline vs church timeline, anti-christ and the bride of christ, the one who holds back will step aside, to mention a few.
I’ll give you a few more years to study this topic, both in OT and NT, before it will get more credible.
    A bit «newbe» argumentation I think.

  2. If the pre trib is not true, then we believers will be killed in the tribulation periode ore starf to dead as we can not buy and sell. It would make more sense that that is for the ones whom come to believe in the tribulation.

  3. Sorry, your asking me not to use the word of God, (BIBLE), impossible, if we don't believe in the bible, you won't believe anything, besides, God himself reveals to a person who he really is, when we accept his son, through the Holy spirit, until then we wont understand that my Lord, Jesus Christ is God❤

  4. My view has shifted from premillennialism to post millennialism but my only problem is the Devil being bound for 1,000 years. If this is a figurative 1,000 years, in what way is Satan bound? Yes Christ is ressurected and reigns in heaven over the Earth but isnt Satan roaming around seeking who he can devour? Doesn't Ephesians 2 say he is controlling the sons of disobedience (unbelievers) and Paul also say we are wrestling against principalities of darkness (Satan)? Satan appears to be active and not bound at this time. So this is truly the last issue I have with postmillenialism that needs clarity.

  6. If you can’t have a resurrection before the first resurrection, then what was the resurrection that happened when Jesus was crucified and rose again? And what does “first” mean? Does it always mean a chronological aspect? It says the second death has no power over them. What is the “power” referring to?

  7. The prophecies of the messiah coming seemed ‘impossible’ in fulfilling :-coming as a conquering king and a suffering servant, of the house of David but not of the house of David because it was cursed, from the house of Levi but of the house of Judah, born in Bethlehem but from Egypt and Nazareth etc.

who saw, two comings, born of Levi, adopted into Judah, born of a virgin, escaped to Egypt born in Bethlehem, lived in Nazareth etc.
things that seem like a contradiction to us are not impossible to God, so although Sam may have some good points I don’t hold much weight to arguments that are structured ‘this is impossible so….’

  8. Don’t get me wrong….I like sam. I think what he does in a lot of situations is outstanding. With that said, he’s a bit of an arrogant bastard. Saying anyone who disagrees with him has less of the holy spirit or needs to be corrected is too much. He may have some good points, it makes him hard to listen too.

  9. Great analysis, however, 2 Peter is pseudepigrapha. So I wouldn't trust it's claims that the new heavens and new earth come at the Parousia, negating the 1,000 year reign. The word of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation takes precedence over the unknown author of 2 Peter.

  10. I agree with 100% that the last week of the 70 weeks was 63-70 AD. I also agree that the supposed rapture scriptures are about the second coming and the resurrection. Here are a couple of things I think you have wrong:

1.) Jesus taught that the tribulation would be in the disciples generation.

2.) 2 Peter 3 is not speaking of the destruction of the literal heavens and earth. Peter is speaking of the end of the Old Covenant age and the destruction of the temple, which was destroyed by fire in 70 Ad. we must allow the Bible to interpret the Bible.

3.) Christ and His apostles all taught that the second coming would be in the lifetime of their original first century audience and they never taught anything else.

I have would be happy to expound on any if these points one at a time if you would like. If not, hopefully you will consider them and allow the Bible to form your eschatology.

  11. The dead in Christ he’s referring too is those who came to Christ during the tribulation and were persecuted and killed for their belief. There are people who will come to Christ after the tribulation. Some will die, some will live. Those who die will be resurrected at the end. I wouldn’t call that bad theology. I would call this sound theology that is contrary to yours. None of us will know who’s right until the day and the hour comes. We can debate but neither can claim to be fully right.

  12. Sam is creating contradictions, Revelation isnt contradicting the rest of scripture, Jesus comes takes us destroys the wicked rules for 1000 years Satan turns people against God then he destroys them and then all the evil people are judged.

  13. I feel like what Paul is saying is that the people who have died resurrect after they die (we just don't see it happen). And the people who are alive at the time the Lord comes will join those who already resurrected after death at that time.

  14. No mention of the rapture? Where two people will be sitting together and then one will be gone? And in regards to the thousand year reign, compared to the other books, don't they tell us that one thousand years to us is like one day with the Lord. So why can't something that seems immediate with the Lord, actually be a thousand years on Earth? There's the Day of the Lord AND the thousand year reign. Its call a revelation for a reason. Remember, one CANNOT contradict the other, so they both have to be true. And if your logic says it must be one way or the other, then thats just a failure of your own imagination.

  15. Sam what are you talking about now? The resurrection clearly happens pre wrath not post trib. All you have to do is read Zechariah 14:3-5 to know this.

Please explain to us who those people are who he's telling to run through the valley that he creates when his feet touch the mount of Olives(believers or unbelievers)?

Also please explain to us why those people that he commands to run through the valley are not killed by him nor caught up and gathered to him and the holy ones who are with him? I would love to hear your explanation of these verses Sam…

    Zechariah 14:3-5

    New American Standard Bible

3 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as [a]when He fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split [b]in its middle from east to west forming a very large valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half toward the south. 5 And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with [c]Him!
