JUST A LITTLE DAY EXPLORING CAMPBELL RIVER HERE ON VANCOUVER ISLAND…

This is my Filipina Girlfriend’s first trip to Canada. Staying in Comox, my mom decided to take us for a little trip up to Campbell River. We started by eating at a delicious little cafe/coffee shop called Java Shack. From there, we headed up to Elk Falls, and walked through the forest to its beautiful suspension bridge. It has been super wet and rainy this December, but that didn’t stop us from getting outside and enjoying the beautiful nature here on Vancouver Island. From Elk Falls, we head back and check out a few shops in Campbell River…

We even end up at a Filipino Store!

Just a day with my girlfriend and mom here on Vancouver Island.

Back in Canada for a few weeks, and just sharing a few raw moments of beauty and family fun.

  13. My wife and I just returned from a month in the Philipines and we had a great time. Getting ready to retire their and build our new home in Matag-ob, Leyte. Therine and Kulas enjoy your Vacation in Beautiful British Columbia to the both of you and Happy New Year too! We hope to catch you you in Surrey. Missed you last time you were here.

  16. Comox or Vancouver island has a very mild weather in winter and it seldom snow even the ski resort in Blackcomb, Whistler has a very thin snow. Here in southern Ontario we have a green Christmas. The weather here is like Vancouver always cloudy and rainy. I wonder why. I think because of the climate change. I loved Vancouver in summer. I would like to come back for a visit. I loved Nova Scotia, too.
    I am very happy Kulas that you brought Therine. How I wished both of you will stay until spring so Therine can experience the blooming of different kinds of flowers. You will loved it there Therine. Hoping both of you will come to Ontario for a visit and see Niagara falls. Therine, if you are climatized to our weather ie four seasons, you will loved Canada. Of course Philippines is beautiful. Kulas bring Therine in the mainland❤❤❤. Enjoy everyone and have a blessed joyful safe New year 2024!

  17. It's wonderful to share your visit to Canada both. I can imagine the cold must have been a shock for Therine (similar to here in the UK). Make sure that you do visit Pangasinan Kulas, Marlita's home area. it's got beautiful scenery and such friendly people. I have so much love for my family there and the area. Don't miss out on Dagupan City, Sual and especially Binmalley, a wonderful beachroad connects it with the State Capitol Lingayen, lots of great eating places to watch the sun go down ❤ enjoy your family time in Canada, love Spencer and Marlita xx

  29. Now therine is experiencing the cold, i leave in canada for 41 yrs. And now im thingking in going back to th Phil. For good, im not young anymore, and i cant stand the 40 degress , especially during Feb. And March snow storm, sometimes you cannot even remember if where did you park your car its all cover with snow, enjoy, go to WHISLER and skie, its like Switchezland, and the snow ,
