Junoesque, acceptance of one’s body by oneself. Body shaming and social media hatred destroys one’s confidence. Demeaning remarks made about appearance not in confirmation with societal standards is hurtful. Kintsugi, Japanese pottery, taking broken pieces to rebuild art, is the inspiration behind the collection Fierte Du Corps by Nikitha Nahar and Harshika Gotawat. To bring a change and break the stereotypes built by the society and fashion industry, the designers have come up with the title fierté du corps with a mission to embrace beauty and fill those broken souls with golden lining of confidence and self love.
