There are TWO weekly challenges in the Challenge Log – under “Other” and scroll to the bottom – these pay 1000c each (in case you messed up and spent them all).
For activities there are many achievements to do – In “Achievements” under Character/General – and scroll to the bottom.

You can get a new set with a short shorts at rank 10! I believe the quest is in Old Sharlayan.

I really hope they open up the inside of the mountain later, because right now it's taking up like a 3rd of the area and provides nothing new really.
I hoped it would be more colorful. I like the island though it made me nausea and gave me a headache running around collecting items.

Question, The last pathfinder ( I believe it is Pathological Pathfinder Mk. V ) do I get the tools he needs at Rank 9 or must I wait for Rank 10 ? Cause I am close to 9 and 3k crowies that I'd use there and then work on my last upgrades

This island is really dumb …started and left … it is not a solo island you cant make it your own they tell you where and what you can build .. felt like i was playing in a new kintergarten video game .. would be a good place to let your kids go and play ..

Dude no life’d the island sanctuary for hours push rank by gathering nodes for hours I bet. Lmao thats dedication. I’m sitting at rank 6 no where near rank 10. Can’t fly and need all the seafarers cowries I can get.
I guess it boils down to patients unless you have nothing else better to do on ffxiv and just want to spend 72 hours gathering.

I thought unlocking the last part was the requirement, I just did it as soon as I hit Rank 9 but now I guess I have to grind to rank 10.

hmm wonder why they dont do instances for housing itself, now they can do it with this island why not for housing? Also an idea i had was why dont they make everyone start with a small house and over time be given the option to size up to a medium and large . That should be possible for them. But that aside i like sanctuary island but it isnt what i thought it would be. However it was well made by the designers, thank you 🙂
