============
#instrumentalmetal #postmetal #sandiego Instrumental-metal duo Fermentor (members of Atheist and Beekeeper), are back less than a year after their previous album with a brand new, completely improvised album entitled Release Me.
Their latest single, Terrible Dawn is the 2nd of 17 tracks dropping weekly from the album over the next 4 months.
A departure from Fermentor’s normal relentless frenzy and meticulous arrangements, Terrible Dawn is huge, heavy, and completely improvised in the studio.
Even the multiple layers of guitar is achieved by looping and building the parts in a single take.
Terrible Dawn and the rest of the tracks from Release Me are windows into the raw creativity and magic that make Fermentor.
Release Me was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Adam Wollach, superbly engineered by Ben Moore, with hand painted art by Sean O’Neill.
